On October 9, 2014 the high school girls volleyball team hosted the annual pink out night, raising funds for the Berni Gustafson-Klobucher Memorial Fund. They raised a total of $1,411! The girls would like to thank everyone for coming out who watched and donated to this good cause. They played Bayfield, who was also in their pink out gear. There was a big crowd, and the girls did not disappoint when it came down to an exciting game. South Shore won the first two matches 25-17 and 25-18. The third and fourth match Bayfield won 26-24 and 25-14. The last match was played to 15, and South Shore had a comeback, with a dominating score of 15-4. One of the highlights of the night was when Mr. Gustafson wore a pink dress at the game! He challenged the volleyball team that if they would raise $500 before game night, he would have to wear a dress. Now I bet he will think twice before challenging the volleyball girls ever again!
