High School singers are invited to join Iron River Area Chorus for presentation of “A Blest Messiah Born.”
Choral director Mary Bondeson and seniors Charlette Stemwedel, Kyle Hipsher and Jacob Kavajecz sang
with the IRAC in a Christmas Cantata “The Story” in December 2013. South Shore High School students are
invited to become part of this years’ presentation. Music will be taught in school 8th period on Tuesdays 
and Thursdays. This request is open to anyone who would like the opportunity to sing beautiful Christmas
music without being registered fulltime for choir. The concert performance is 2 pm on Saturday, December 13 at
St. Michael Catholic Church in Iron River. Nine community members from Port Wing and Herbster are
singing or playing instruments this year! Mrs. Lehman, our elementary music teacher is directing and
can answer questions and provide music for you. She is in school on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
School rehearsals will run from October 20 through December 11.
