Season Recap:
“So far, this season has had its ups and downs. Right now we are 2-4, the four loses were against Washburn, Mellen, and two very close games against Northwestern and Mercer. Our two games that we won were very close as well, both going to 5 matches. We beat Ironwood and Hurley.”
Season Predictions:
“Well, of course our goal is to get a state championship, (that would be amazing!) but we must take one step at a time. If we all continue to work together and keep improving, I know we can get to that Regional Championship game.”
What can the team do to improve?
“I think that the one thing we can improve on is finishing games. Sometimes, we will get ahead during a match, but then let up and stop playing 100% until the other team catches up. If we play through each game as best as we can without letting up, South Shore volleyball will be a team to look out for!”
Favorite game so far:
“I would say my favorite game would be when we beat Ironwood. The first match we lost 16-25, the second match we won 25-6, the third match we won 25-20, the fourth match we lost 15-25, and the last match we won 15-13!! It was the most exciting volleyball game I have ever been apart of, the whole gym was so loud!”
