Each month, we will be asking a student about his or her favorite pet. Occasionally, we will also feature an animal from a shelter around the area who needs adopting. The first pet is Herman, a one-and-a-half year old wiener dog (not for sale). Crystal Stewart, a sophomore at South Shore high school, is his owner. Herman was discovered by her Grandfather in a newspaper when he was a puppy. Having light brown fur and black stripes, he can be described as very loving but sometimes lazy! Three of his favorite things to do are to sleep, eat and cuddle! Sounds like a very energetic dog…but cute nonetheless!
