South Shore’s student section cheer on the boys

On Tuesday March 1st, #4 South Shore hosted the #13 Butternut Midgets in the first round of Regionals. South Shore’s Carter Lulich won the tip to start off the game. The boys had a slow first half, but quickly brought up the pace in the second half and swept the Midgets off the floor. The final score of the game was 94-59, and the boys advanced to the second round of the Regional tournament.

March 3rd was the second round of Regionals, South Shore hosted the #5 Northwood Evergreens. The gym was packed full with a huge fan base ready to cheer on the boys. The boys were down at halftime with a score of 38-33. They had a very good start in the second half and tied the score multiple times, but it wasn’t enough to beat the strong Northwoods team. The final score of the game was 80-67. Congratulations to the boys team on a fantastic season. Thank you seniors Koy Nelson, Ethan Helenius, and Ryan Knaack.
