On Saturday, October 9, 2021 South Shore held a middle school girls basketball tournament. The tournament consisted of Mellen, Butternut, and South Shore. Both 8th grade and 7th grade teams played in the tournament with the 8th grade games in the high school gym and the 7th grade games in the elementary gym. Both teams won the tournament with 2-0 game records for the day. The final seconds of the last 8th grade game vs. Mellen was intense but the Cardinals pulled out the win. Congratulations on an awesome season, girls!
