South Shore’s volleyball team held their annual pink out game on October 15, 2021. The game was against the Lac Courte Oreilles, Varsity was first starting at 5:45pm and JV played the remaining sets of the varsity. South Shore holds a pink out night to bring awareness to breast cancer and to raise money for the Berni Gustafson-Klobucher Scholarship. The volleyball team sold ribbons and raffle squares to raise money for the scholarships. Aside from the scholarship the foundation also holds a long walk/ride from the Oulu WI baseball park to the Port Wing WI baseball park to raise money. They use that money to give to cancer patients around the area. During the day of pink out, students and staff dress up in all pink to show their support for the awareness. The game concluded with a 3-1 set victory over LCO and the team raised a total of $1650.00 for the memorial fund!
