Did you know that cybercrime is the largest growing and most costly criminal enterprise in the world?
According to Cybersecurity Ventures “it is estimated cybercrime damages will cost the world $6 trillion annually by 2021, up from $3 trillion in 2015.” -Cybercrime Magazine
It is the greatest transfer of economic wealth in the history of our civilization and more profitable than the trade of all illegal drugs in the world combined.
South Shore Tech Club is excited to host its first ever informational seminar to raise awareness and provide information for our community members to protect themselves online. There will be a presentation by Tech Club student members, followed by Q&A with Jamie Glass, IT Director. Afterward we will be serving some baked treats compliments of Angie’s Bakery in Iron River.
We will also have a donation box at the event. All donations will be directed to the South Shore Tech Club fund in order to provide programming software licensing and robotics materials to help jump start those initiatives in the near future.
Please RSVP for this event by sending an email to [email protected] or by calling Jamie Glass at the Tech Office (715)-774-3500 x620. See you there!
