The High School Girls Basketball Victory against Chequamegon!

On Thursday, December 13th, the girls prepared to play Chequamegon the Screaming Eagles! Only the Varsity team played, so the game started at 6pm. The starters were Aurora Grant, Tiiara Lahti, Chloe Sipsas, Natalie Knaack and Taylor Nicoletti. The game started with Chloe Sipsas winning the tip, getting it to Natalie Knaack for the first points of the game. After that we moved ahead very quick. At half time the score was 40-11. South Shore was winning the rebound battle, the least amount of turnovers, field goal % and free throw percentage. With a hard working and tough team, South Shore ended the game at 72-29.
Junior Chloe Sipsas ended the game with 25 points, 1 steal, 9 rebounds with 1 assist and block. Lily Truchon, a Freshman, had a total of 18 points, 4 steals, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. Aurora Grant, a Senior, had a total of 11 points, 2 steals, 3 rebounds. Natalie Knaack ended with 10 points, 2 steals, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Leila Tuura next with 3 points. Taylor Nicoletti with 3 points, 2 steals, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks. Sara Kangas with 2 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists and 3 blocks. Tiiara Lahti with 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals and 1 block. The Girls did great and are ready for the next game, which is December 13th against Winter.
