Several elementary students wanted to learn how to sew for their passion project. Three community members, Leanna Pudas, Bitsy Sloan, and Jean Janisch have volunteered their time to mentor the students.  The students have absolutely loved learning sewing basics and how to use a sewing machine. For their first project, they are making a handbag or tote.  Their items will be on display at the Passion Project Fair on May 16th. Thank you so much to our sewing mentors for helping the students learn this important life skill.  The time you are spending with the girls is very much appreciated.
