On January 17th, 2019, the second and the seventh grade went to the Great Lakes Aquarium. Seventh graders partnered up with second graders and played a game using the goose chase app. The game sent the students on missions to discover, photograph & answer questions in order to receive points. After lunch students broke into groups and participated in three different stations. One of the stations was creating fish prints. Students learned about the Japanese fish printing technique. Another station students created origami fish and the final station was sculpting fish that they could see in the saltwater exhibit. “My favorite part was making sculptures & origami fish and that my dad came” – Elijah
