On March 28th 2017, Shauna Kavajecz will take the floor to play for Wisconsin in the annual border battle. South Shore has previously contributed many players including, Megan Gustafson, Alyssa Kavajecz, Emily Gustafson, Janice Anderson, Blake Reijo, and Lindsey Olson. This is the fifth consecutive year one of our own players has made the cut.

In Jan., Shauna got the invitation to play for Northern Wisconsin in 2017. Ten girls from┬áthe state of Wisconsin are chosen by a committee. If the invitation is not accepted they will move on down the list; Kavajecz was eager to reply to the invite. Shauna is very excited to play, “I really did not expect to get it, but I was hoping I would get the chance, because I have watched my former teammates play up there.”

We hope to see everyone on March 28th supporting Shauna along with the other amazing athletes in the competition!
