On Nov. 13th, the Port Bar and Grill is hosting a spaghetti dinner to raise money for the boys basketball team. It will start around 1:00, which is around the time of the Packer game. The boys have planned, advertised, and collected donations for this event.

The boys basketball team welcomed a new coach this year and he is making some new and exciting changes. Mr. Matt Bailey – also the physical education teacher at South Shore –  and his players want new travel gear, practice uniforms, shooting shirts, duffel bags, bucket hats, etc. The money from this fundraiser will go towards the purchase of these items. Not only is Bailey hoping to spruce up their appearances and style, he is making changes on the court as well. The boys start their season on Monday. Then have a scrimmage Tuesday which is an intersquad game along with the girls game at 6 p.m. in the Herbster gym. Everyone should look forward to seeing these changes happen and better the team. The boys are hoping to take home a conference win this season.
