The Lady Cardinals faced off against the Northwood Evergreens at 7:00 on their home turf for the second round of regional tournament play.  South Shore had a respectable sized crowd, decked out in red, who made the hour and a half journey to support the girls.

Having lost by 13 points to the Evergreens when they traveled to South Shore during the regular season, the Lady Cards were determined to give it their all.  And so they did.  They played fiercely, getting on the board first with a three.  The pressure was high for the duration of the game, as were the fouls.  Both teams maxed out team fouls in the first half with a repeat for South Shore in the second half.

The Lady Cardinals rallied from a 10 point deficit to come within two.  Unfortunate fouls opened up the opportunity for the Evergreens.  With just seconds on the clock, they made a couple free throws and that was game.  Final score was 40-37.
