On 12.16.2015, Mrs. Ripley took the High School Spanish classes on a fun field trip to Duluth.  On this trip, the students got the opportunity to sing Christmas carols to residents in a nursing home, eat at Maya Family Mexican Family Restaurant, and explore the mall for a class project.

After singing traditional Christmas carols – both Spanish and English versions! – the students handed out the cards they had made for the residents.  After many laughs and good conversation, the trip continued on to the Maya Family Mexican Restaurant.  Everybody was more than happy to dig in to some classic Mexican food.

When bellies were full and everyone was finished the bus moved on to the next stop, the Miller Hill Mall.  The students were instructed to split up in to small groups and take a picture in front of a store or product that they could advertise.  All in all, this trip was full of laughs and was a good time for everyone!
