Middle School Boys Basketball; Parents Night
December 11, 2015
This year’s Middle School Boys Basketball’s parents night took place on December 3rd in between the 7th and 8th grade games against Washburn. Both 7th and 8th grade teams played their hearts out and fought until the end. Even with all of their efforts, Washburn took the win. The middle school boys had a great season this year. Along with smiles and laughs, their season was full of improvement. Coach, Jamie Glass, states “Well, since the 7th grade team was mostly 5th graders, they improved an enormous amount. The 8th grade team improved their discipline as a team. They got in less foul trouble at the end of the season. They were already very skilled at the beginning of the season. It was difficult to challenge them. I ended up having to bring in high school players to play with them. I think that this year’s 8th grade is going to have an immediate impact on the success rate of the high school JV team. Combined with this year’s freshman, they will make a very formidable JV team.” We are all excited to see what is in store for next year’s high school basketball season with the new eighth graders coming up as freshman.
