Volleyball 2015 Recap

Morgan Sorenson, Reporter

The volleyball season came to an end on Tuesday, October 20th. The season was full of ups and downs, but all in all, the girls grew together as a team. The South Shore volleyball team traveled to Mercer that Tuesday to compete to go onto the Regional final. The girls fought hard and left everything on the court, but ended up losing. “I felt like our preparation for the middle hitting went well. We also played good defense and moved well. At the end of the night, I was sad that our season was over, but I was very proud to be a part of this team. This season was filled with a lot of change, and I am very happy with how well the girls dealt with adversity. I appreciated their ability to adjust to all of the changes. A lot of improvements were made from the beginning to the end of the season. I think I have the opportunity work with the best students in the world. I am very lucky,” said Coach Truchon. We would like to thank the seniors, Caitlyn Thompson, Kellie Rock, Morgan Sorenson, Casey Nicoletti and Emma Winge for participating in this years volleyball season, and wish them well in their future endeavors.
