The Student Council at South Shore initiated a fundraiser prior to the holiday break. Each class was tasked with gathering up food to donate local food shelves. On December 22nd, the entire junior and high school student body gathered in the gym to compete against each other in building the tallest tower from the items they had gathered as a class. The seniors dominated, as usual. Being a senior, this is a completely unbiased opinion. The winner won the right to donate a 100 dollars to the charity of their choice. The seniors chose to split it between the First Lutheran Church in Port Wing and the South Shore Education Foundation. The Student council would like to thank all the classes for their hard work and a special thanks to the seniors for showing us how to get things done!!
