South Shore Outplays the Evergreens
The girls team took a picture next to a sign that said “Defeather the Cardinals” after their win, so they could prove that the Evergreen’s mission had failed.

On December 12, 2014, the South Shore lady Cardinals played in Minong, WI against the Northwood Evergreens. The JV had a two quarter game, and our girls won 9-6! The varsity followed, beating the previously unbeaten Evergreens 49-31. This is what the Cardinals’ head coach had to say about the game: “With a combination of tremendous team defense, effort, and timely scoring, the Cardinals were able to pull out a road non-conference victory.” The Lady Cardinals play at Mellen tonight (December 15, 2014) for both a JV and Varsity game.
