South Shore Competes at Business Skills Competition
December 7, 2014
Students from South Shore got dressed up in their finest business attire and hit the road before the sun came up on Wednesday morning…and for what? To take a test, of course! Talk about dedication. Caitlyn, Desarae, Zach, Megan, Kellie and Alyssa suited up to take part in the annual Wisconsin Business Skills Competition, held this year at the Rice Lake WITC Campus. There were a range of competitions taking place simultaneously ranging from computer and math skills to welding and working and even a dairy quiz bowl! South Shore students competed against over 200 other students from around the state in Accounting, Power Point, Excel and Word. A big shout out to Megan Smith, who placed 3rd in Word. Congratulations!
Thank you so much for your efforts and good skills next year! Keep up the strong work.
